Dashboard/Sidebar program

Does anyone know of some sidebar programs? I have tried Codename: Dashboard, Sidebar and SmartBarXP. None of this really do exactly what I want. Sidebar so far does most of what I want, however, it does not do it all. I would like for it to have the ability to add in plugins and actually dock to the side of the desktop. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about a dock like the one with longhorn. There is a dx object that does this. You'll have to search through the desktopx library to find it though

The problem w/ desktopX is that it is a resource hog. I would like something else that uses less resources.
