Window Blinds does not unblur

I haven't used WB in a while but since Windows 11 does not support Curtains I'd thought I'd return to using it.  I downloaded the lastest and an old error has popped up again.  After applying a WB theme, the dream desktop image remains blurred.  A reboot fixes the issue.  Alternatively, I can apply a static background, then apply the dream.  It works but Explorer crashes at first and the WB disappears from the system tray.

Thank you.  That fixed the blur issue.  The bottom row of the Start 11 v.2 icons is cut off however.

UPDATE:  toggling the number of icons and the start menu skinning options fixed the Start menu issue as well.

SECOND UPDATE:  After changing WindowBlinds a few times the blur and crash issues returned.  :(

What did you change? Change so specific theme? or something else? Also, do you also have Fences installed with Deskscape 11?

Thank you,

No, I simply applied different blinds and dreams until I found the combination I wanted.

So which WB and which Dreams is causing the issue? Also, once the issue appear, if you restart Explorer.exe does the issue goes away?

Thank you,

Christmas Holidays v.2 WB and 4K Autumn Evening dream.  Once the problem occurs it happens at every WB change thereafter.  Explorer crashes and restarts by itself and then the blur is gone.

I can't reproduce your issue on my Windows 10 system. Need to know if you have other Stardock product also install such as Start11 v2, Fences and Groupy?

Thank you,

I'm on Windows 11.  Yes, I'm running Fences 5, Start 11 v2 and Groupy.

I don't have enough graphics power to run 4K dreams for my Windows 11 VM to test this. However, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thank you.  This is actually an old problem I first saw a few years ago.  It was part of the reason I switched to Curtains.

If you uninstall Fences 5, can you still reproduce the issue?

I installed Fences 5 after reporting the issue.  It happened using Fences 4 as well.  Here's another detail.  After applying the WB blind the desktop image unblurs for a second before blurring again for good.

Please check this setting in Deskscape (refer screenshot below). If it turned on, turn it off and see if it help your issue. If it off, turn it on and test. Report back.
