Start Menu App List

Hi Guy's,

I am using Strat11v2 on a fresh install of Win 11pro

I have ones small issue though....

In the start menu, where all apps show up, loads of my apps have the word "new" under them.

Usually once one opens up the app, or just right clicks on the app, the word "new" disappears.

However no matter what I have tried nothing seems to work and the word "new" remains under my apps.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe that tag will be gone by itself after few days installed. Or, you can try disable setting "Show recently added apps" in Start menu -> configuration -> Advance options.

I already have this option turned off.

As I said above, usually you should be able to either open, or right click, on an app and the "new" tag should be gone.

I have confirmed, through testing, that this has only started happening since installing Start11v2

I will give it a few days more to see if it goes away by itself, I will update this thread either way.

Great, do inform us if the "New" still there after few days. Honestly, I recently installed one application, but not sure how many days ago but today. I don't see the "New" tag any more on my system.
