Fences 5 will not take activation key, tried offline activation, says I am already activated lol

And the Fences 5 software looks for a file .resp vs. .req - they don't even have their own file names right.

I reinstalled Fences 5 from my subscription page.  It asked for a license, entered, rebooted and then it said it could not activate or contact the license server.  I tried offline activation.  It says a profile on your desktop by default called fences.req.  When you go to the next page on the Fences app, it looks for the file Fences.resp.  It doesn't even know the same file extension and you can't change it to look for all *.*.  Sad, very sad.  I wonder who does the testing on the software - US?

 

Now I have to figure out how to uninstall and reinstall the software.  Last time it took a registry change.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, do know sometimes the activation server down. You should try again later. As for off line activation, my guess is that you misunderstood the process.
