HEY!!! They found the WDMS!!!!

in Texas

really really....

This is a tale of weapons of mass destruction found in Noonday, Texas. Two individuals living in this small Texas town were arrested on weapons charges ranging from firearms to deadly sodium cynanide bomb. Our maintream media, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and other major news out lets failed to inform us of these home grown terrorists.

I want to know why this story did not make the national news wires or national networks such as CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, CNN? Is it because those involved are white individuals? I'd be willing to bet that if these were people of color, it would be a lead story repeated over and over for days if not months about finding WMD's here in our own back yard, America!

other than the "people of color" part, the media coverage is actually a good question

The discovery of a sodium cyanide bomb, a stockpile of components needed to make other chemical weapons and a cache of illegal arms has led to the arrests of three suspected domestic terrorists and prompted a nationwide hunt for possible co-conspirators who could be plotting a mass-casualty attack somewhere in the United States.

their skin color would have anything to do with it.

a couple of teens in my hometown got stopped trying to carjack a vehical, which was to be used for a mass shooting spree in south jersey. they were white. it was national news. they are going to jail. end of story.

why this did not make national news, in my guess, is because the government tends to keep these things on the down low. it would spark hysteria. for the same reasons, our national threat level is not location based. they do not want to start panics. they figured they found a problem, they removed it, they dont want people to fear that their neighbor might be doing the same thing. besides, its Texas.

Noonday is about 5 miles down the road from me!

Of course, the story was all over our local news. Don't listen to the major news channels much.

This story was posted at Common Dreams - http://www.commondreams.org/ The question they asked was "Where was Ashcroft in all of this?" The article itself, originally posted in the Los Angeles Times is located here - http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0107-03.htm

Way too many important stories left out of mainstream press, for only one reason - politics.

Makes you wonder though, I mean that was just one place. We had a couple of guys who got popped at separate times. One guy in Ruskin had a garage full of LAW's, M-60's, Mortar's all different sized Tubes and Shells, Claymore Mines, Grenades, Ammo. He had been connected to the Army as a shipping clerk for deployments and when he got out he took a bunch of forms with him. He knew how to fill them out and he would have things sent on Amtrak to Tampa and pick the up in his Cammo-painted Dodge Puck Truck. He was busted about 11 years ago finally. Another guy got popped in Palm Harbor or Hudson, anyway they were after him for sell weed, but the narc noticed a Mortar Tube and Rounds and a .50 cal with ammo and a M-60 and ammo in the house so they busted him fast...

Wacko Survivalists are just as bad as Fanatical so called Muslims, the only difference is they haven't full stepped over the edge. Hell some have held kangaroo courts and have death warrants out on members of Congress, the Judicial System, FBI, and various offices in DC and / or State/Local Officials where they live.

scary stuff...

Yes...why worry about what and who enters the US when you have more wacko's already within the borders than there are without?....

Yes we do seem to have "our fair share of them" don't we Terrorists aside...in what other country do you hear about serial killers, mail bombers, anthrax scares, corporate pollution, medical waste washing up on the beach, mothers killing all their kids and saying they were kidnapped, fathers killing their family and themselves, repeat DUI offenders with driver's licenses, dog attacks, drug rings, porn rings, movie stars and wrestlers as governors, etc. and we STILL haven't gone metric!

shh, Freedom is but smoke and mirrors depending at what level one would claim it holds meaning and conversely where it ends holding any real meaning....

For example, at one point in time one of the things I used to hear from friends joking around about Russia and the NAZI party, was how they controlled the masses with "the papers". You had to have them in order to be legal and you could end up in jail or prison for not having them. In a couple of states there are cases in court where they are trying to convict a person because they refused to present identification to the Police.

On one hand the Police need this type of information without a doubt.

But on the other hand, to make it illegal for a citizen in a free society to carry around identification cards and for it to be a crime to not produce them on demand means it is not a free society any longer.

If I am rich and I do not like banks and happen to have a certain amount of money stashed away ( say millions ). The IRS and the Treasury Department can bring a case against me for keeping money out of circulation and also preventing the IRS from taxing me or having the chance to see if they can tax me on it, then fine the crap out of me for it. Yet, it is my money and where is the law that states you must bank your money?

If your an adult and you see something done to someone else's child you are not sure is considered child abuse and you do not say anything about it you can be charged and found guilty of "Willful neglect and Child Abuse".

It is all well and fine to claim to have some corner on Freedom as a nation as long as no one looks to close with open eyes.

Right now in Florida courts the Republicans are pushing to remove and or change the Petition process to deny the Citizens of Florida their State Constitutional Right to make changes in government. Changes like the exact one used to put Arnold into office in California which the same party was so proud to use. See there it got them what they wanted, here it is biting them in the butt.

The thing about it is All of them have to agree to it passing which includes both sides of the Legislature so it will not be party specific it those changes are allowed.

Those right are there so that government can not run rough shod over the citizens of this state and they will end up taking them away I am sure. The rights they seek to kill or abolish are rights of a free society, they are in fact Representative of a free society....

When the representation is taken away all you have are tyranny and elitism on a grand scale and it doesn't ever work in the end. The French learned all about that from their Revolution. Janice Joplin has a verse

"Freedom is just another word for Nothing left to loose"

I love this Nation and the people, but at times I wonder why it is so many seem to walk through life with blinders on...
