Start11 Transparency Not Working

I'm aiming for a W7 glassy vibe on Win11, and Adjust Taskbar Transparency is greyed out, can't click it at all.

I have transparency effects turned on in personalization, and have "blue the wallpaper", "give the taskbar rounded corners", and "override taskbar colors" off.

I also am using an Aero 11 theme with WindowBlinds and not noticing any changes with messing with the transparency slider in the style settings.

I am using the trials if that has anything to do with it!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe when you have Windowblinds skin applied the taskbar transparency control on Start11 will be turned off. You can use Windowblinds to adjust its transparency. But, if the skin is having "Blur" property on the taskbar you won't see the transparency change if you change the transparency value in WB. What you need to do, is to disable blur from that skin using Skinstudio. To do that refer to screenshot below.

So i changed to a few other themes and it seems the glass style works, its just Aero11 giving me issues and i cant figure out exactly why. i went into the skin editor and set it to semi-transparent and it didn't change either

When you edit the skin in the skinstudio. Make sure your edit the correct substyle. For example.  If you using Aero11 with Clear substyle, make sure when you edit, you open up the correct substyle. Edit it, save skin and apply.

i tested the Diamodn style, it had blur, but i changed it to semi-transparent and it worked. I deleted and reinstalled the Aero11 theme and did the same steps again, making sure I'm using the Clear substyle that I am actively using, but it still has blur. I guess I'll contact the skin creator to see if he knows anything. When i apply the theme i swear i see the correct task bar style for just a moment then it blurs again.

If you have anymore ideas please let me know, thank you for your help <3

When you open Skinstudio->File->Open Skin for Editing->Browse to Aero 11->Click Edit skin-> Select a Substyle-> Clear->Click open-> Click on Edit Startmenu and taskbar-> Click on "Edit Horizontal Taskbars"-> Background->Click on "Extra settings" tabs-> Background effect-> Select semi transparency or no semi transparency->Click Save skin->Click apply skin.

If all those done correctly, yet the blur effect still there. Try restart explorer.exe. Also check and make sure Force Blur effect is not turn on. Turn it off and click apply style to desktop.

I am having this exact issue but only have start11 v2.03 installed (trial). Windows 11 home (22631.2861) any solutions?

I am rooting for this software to work, but I'm thinking of postponing to see if these issues (such as the three monitor problem) are ironed out first.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Which issue? The "Adjust taskbar transparency" gray out?

Thanks

Please make sure under Windows setting Transparency effects is turn on.

Also, please check if you have any other 3rd party application/modification done on Taskbar, Start menu and or Explorer which might conflicting with Start11?
