Start 11 Menu Icons Missing

from Stardock Forums

I have had Start 11 installed for a long time, and its been working flawlessly.

However, this morning started my laptop, and a lot of the icons in the menu are missing.

Tried rebooting my laptop, no difference. Re-installed start11, this worked for a few minutes, but after a few minutes start11 becomes unresponsive, restarts and the icons are missing again.

Installed some windows updates, which I feel may have caused this....

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows full version numbers. Use winver.exe.
  2. Start11 full version numbers.

Blank icons usually point to a corrupted icon cache.

I would probably recommend installing the 2.06 beta available in your store downloads as it has many updates over the 2.05.
