windowblinds are themes that cover all of your windows. the taskbar, startmenu, maybe turn off, log off dialoge, the toolbaricons, and some animations.

Desktopx themes(I assume this is what you are talking about) just skin the desktop...not the windows and other things like that. But wiht desktopx your desktop can look like almost anything, that you or somebody else can imagine and create. The form of the desktop with desktopx can be dramatically different then normal, or just have a few changes. In my opinion desktopx themes support the windowblinds themes..not replace them. If you are trying to make a decision I would get windowblinds first

or if you think you might like both object desktop is a very good choice because not only does it have windowblinds and desktopx in it it also has a bunch of other goodies.

Thanks a lot. I think that know I start to understand. From all the programs of stardock which are the ones you must have installed always.

sorry I really can't understand that last statement. Are you asking which programs from stardock I have installed, or are you asking if there are any programs from stardock that you have to have installed in order to run other programs?

The answer to the first question is most of them, excluding the games. The answer to the second question is that you only need the program installed for which you are going to use the skins for. Each program is seperate and runs by itself. The exception is the thememanager which lets you install complete themes. for this you need all of the programs for which the theme which you download supports.

I hope that answers your last statement if it is a question.
