As of Start11 v2, the "Recently Install App" setting is not preserved between reboots. This is on Start11 V2.06 on Win 11 Pro, 23H2.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try Start11v2.07 Beta and see if this is still an issue. Remember to reboot after the installation finished.

It is still an issue, even with the latest beta.
Here's how to test:
1. click on the Start Menu
2. right click and unselect "Show recently installed apps"
3. Reboot
4. Click on the Start Menu
5. Recently installed apps will still be showing and the option from #2 enabled
Which Start11 Start menu style you're using?

Modern Style, All programs list -> Enabled, Do not highlight new applications -> Disabled, Start menus should open showing all programs list -> Enabled
