Losing Icons?

Hi,

Often when I load a theme via Theme Manager and then unload it I find I have lost program icons. This occurred once with Adobe Reader. Re-installing the application fixed the problem. It occurred again today with WinZip icon. Note: This is not specific to one theme as several I have tried do it.

It's a pain to reinstall the app just due to loading/unloading the theme. I have tried looking for the lost icons in each circumstance, but could not find them.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Theme Manager doesn't directly apply icons. It does so through IconPackager. Make sure in the settings for IconPackager that Restore all icons before opening a new package is checked.

Also if you do lose icons, you don't need to re-install the app to correct the association in the registry.
Just go to My Computer-->Tools-->Folder Options-->File Types and correct the association to the icon there.

Well, that setting in IconPackager is already checked and I am still losing them so I don't know what to do about it...

When I lose icons the file association change does not help. I had already tried that of course, but changing it does not change my icons back to what they should be. Only a reinstall of the app seems to fix it for some strange reason...
