Moving icons when using Windows 10 style start menu

I just started using Start11.  I am on Window 11 23H2.  I have Start11 set to use the Windows 10 style start menu.

I have my icons in the right pane divided into 8 groups.  I have a total of  55 icons in the right pane.  When I pin a new program to the Start11 start menu, it is added at the bottom.  How can I move the icon to a group that isn't visible in the pane (it is up higher on the list so is not currently visible).  If I select the icon and try to drag it up to the correct group, I can not go any further than the top of the currently displayed icons.  The pane doesn't auto scroll like it did in the native Windows 10 start menu.

How can I drag the icon up further?

Thanks,
Bill

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Which Start11 version you have on? I have Start11v2.07 and I can click and drag the icon to the top of the start panel. While still holding the left mouse button down. I can use my scroll mouse to scroll the start panel group down or up.

Thank you.

@basj

I am using v2.07.  That was the hint I needed.  If I hold down the left button and use my scroll wheel, I'm also able to scroll the start panel up or down.  That wasn't necessary in Windows 10 for me.  If I moved the icon to the top of the start panel the panel would scroll automatically.  I'll just have to get used to using the scroll wheel to do that.

Thanks,
Bill
