Microsoft Releases 24H2 to the Release Preview Channel

Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.712 is now available for Insiders in the Release Preview Channel

Yesterday, Microsoft released Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.712 to the Release Preview Channel. This tells me that 24H2 is very near the final release version. Is Stardock in the process of testing their products on 24H2 for compatibility?

Now that MS has introduced Copilot + Surface computers, and the industry seems to be moving towards ARM based laptops, is Stardock actively working towards compatibility with ARM?

I am an avid fan and user of multiple Stardock software products on Windows 11, and very interested in the future compatibility with 24H2 and ARM.

Please use this thread for comments on this subject. I am interested in what other Stardock users feel about the industry moving forward towards 24H2 and beyond.

Microsoft have some changes in to Windows 11 24H2 to lock customization. They remove some old gui. Old GUI on 24H2 is remove, on 23H2 and older is only lock.

I really like how far arm processors have come. I almost want one as a secondary device. Yet, I think I am still going to stick with Ryzen cpu's on my mobile devices as they still have the advantage for power users and also still give better battery life versus an intel cpu.

What I am hoping will happen is an advancement in battery technology. I do hear rumors of eventual solid state lithium batteries at some point. Hopefully it wont be too many more years before they make their way to laptops.

With regards to ARM support, we have ARM support for Fences 5, Groupy 2 and Start11 v2.  This is in beta right now for ObjectDesktop customers only but will be made more widely available in the future.

Some products are unlikely to ever gain ARM support due to limited market and complexity of supporting the platform.
