For the love of all that is holy. Many of us have been asking for a new way to select fence colors for years. Still, we have to use this strange HSL method and can't even get an RGB or HEX option!
Please, I beg of you Stardock. Give us RGB or HEX color selection options.
There is a perfectly good explanation for that, although maybe not too obvious, because this would only work with opaque fences. With transparency applied, the colours of the fences change because of the underlying colours of the wallpaper or desktop colour. Here's an example with light and dark background without changing the colour settings in Fences.
I appreciate your attempt to explain, but it may not be clear enough for me. However, why do so many other programs still allow us to use RGB or HEX, and transparencies are involved? Can't we even get a color selection with RGB and HEX, and it still just translates it back to the HSL behind the scenes?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you go to Fences 5 Configuration->Personalization tab ->Background Color: More adjustment-> Edit background color. You will get something like screenshot below. Yo should be able to directly input in your RGB or HSL values to select color.

I believe it available since the release of Fences v5, but I can't be 100% sure on which v5 version, it might be since the very first v5 version released.
