Hello,

Its not always a matter of 'support' for other 3rd party software. Rather, if they both operate in the same space (the desktop in this instance) and seem to have conflicting features, what, if anything, can be done to mitigate it from either party.
If you install the trial for Fences 5, and disable 'Chameleon' in it, does it then work as you would hope?

I simply wanted to be able to use the wallpaper engine in such a way that the background of the fence could be blurred, similar to the translucent effect of Windows, and the fact that the Simplified Chinese translation of Fence4 doesn't cover most of the content, which makes for a very cut-throat experience for me.
Unless I have missed it, you still did not answer Sean question, If you disable Fences Chameleon in Fences 5 Trial, which is free to try, did you see the issue with Wallpaper Engine?

Thank you,
Basj,

In the first step of the installation, the program had a garbled problem, which made it difficult to maintain confidence in the next step of the upcoming installation.
Not sure, what or why you got those, but, do know that Fences 5 has been released since April 2023 and currently have thousand of user worldwide. You can review Fences changelog/history to see how Fences 5 has changed since April 2023.
Thank you,

I had a similar situation when I was using a CRM. I was reluctant to upgrade because some new features didn’t align with our existing setup and workflow.
It was only when I saw the new features and improvements genuinely benefit our team’s efficiency that I made the move. Sometimes, waiting for the right features or support can be worth it, especially if the upgrade doesn’t bring added value.
In the meantime, it might be worth reaching out to the developers or checking their forums for any planned updates or workarounds. They might be able to give you some insight into when or if support for Wallpaper Engine will be added.
