Move from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11

How do I copy a snapshor made in Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro? Tried to search your Website etc., but nothing usefull found! What to do?

I assume you mean Fences, yes. I moved your post to Fences. For Fences, to back up your saved layout snapshot please use this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1331494954/Transferring+the+Fences+Layout%2FSnapshot

Hi.

 

THX, I understand where to find the backup file but how do I implement that png backup file into my running version?  

 

I have tried but it does no show up in thes list of backups, when I try to restore!

If you have copied over those files into the correct location in your new system. Might need to restart system. it should appear in your "layout backups" listing. One thing, might be important, you need to name those save backup unique, other than just date, something like "My old system last layout" this will make it easier to find it when you find it on your new system.

Hi.

 

I've tried to copy both the png an xml files to the backup folder and then tried to restore backup, but it does not appesr in the list over backups!

 

Where is the active png and xml stored?

I believe you need to copy over the whole files within this directory: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Stardock\Fences\Backups. Not just few selected files.
