How to customize skin?

So I've dowloaded DestopX and love some of the set-ups, however, how do I customize things? The konstrictor theme keeps asking to insert a disk because it needs to read drive g(?). How do I remove the links to MSWord, mail, and set-up my own links in the skin? I'm new to this whole thing - so I apologize for my newbie-ness! Also, I've dowloaded login screens (Logon UI), how do I make those work? How do I run all this stuff and everything. THANKS SO MUCH TO ANYONE WHO HELPS!!!

For DX you simply right click on the objects/icons and select "properties" and do all your configurations there, for Logon's you need to d/l and install this https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/ prior to d/l'ing skins or your Logon skins will not work...

Unfortunately, I tried right-clicking on the konstrictor theme, and couldn't custmoize anything... nothing showed up...?

And the Logon screens don't work because they are just jpg files... Only the default ones that came with the logon program work.
