Hello,
Yes, if you purchased single license key, you need to deactivate your license from the old computer first, and then, re-activate on your new computer. If you can't get to your old system. You can use this guide to review and deactivate your activation. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1260191763/How+to+review+your+current+activations
Thank you.

hello basj,
I have the same issue - it is with Fences 5. I do not see the same "deactivation" option in the web address that you gave here. Probably because I currently have a 1-year subscription instead of a permanent purchase?
In this case, how do I deactivate the subscription on my old laptop and reactivate it on my new laptop? Thanks.
Regards,
John

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please post a screenshot of what you see on your product download page, (please blank off those keys,) so we can understand your issue better.

Hello,
Moving forward, I believe it is best for you to raise a support ticket by using the link below, use "Ask a Question" option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.
