Fence 4 to 5

Can I install Fences 5 OVER Fences 4?

If I have to uninstall Fences 4 before installing Fences 5 I do not want to lose all of my fences on the desktop.

Hello,
It should be OK to install Fences v5 over v4. The saved layout snapsshot should still be there, just make sure to reboot right after the installation done. But, if you wish to be extra safe, you can use this guide to backup your layout snapshots: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots
