A week or two ago, some of us fellas were playing around with this on IRC, No one could get above 593.5 if I recall right. It was a different URL than the one posted above also.

I have had it on my computer as a standalone game for a while and I can't get nearly that high. maybe the location of it matters.

320,5 is my best. I can't imagine 593 being possible. Maybe the numbers are different on a another site (maybe a feet/meter thing

ah.. the things you can do with flash

my first hit (after i figured out what was happening) was 315.. i got progressively worse from there.. best one was 320.

Had similar numbers from dendillons link (325 or so, max). Here's another link, this one gets more distance. So far 575 is my best on this one.

haha my first hit on #9 was 489. from the way the signs end promptly after 350, it looks like it wasn't intended to go that far... looks like someone had ego issues topping out at 350 and dropped the gravity factor so they could get better numbers.

Mine always goes off the top of the screen and buries itself nose-first at about 210.

Yeah, a couple of the threads I found about the animation seem to think the same thing, the longer hitting one has most likely been tweaked by someone.

I'm not a huge fan of flash, by and large, but the little games like these can be pretty captivating

There is a definite difference between the two. In the first one, the penguin will slide for quite awhile. In the second one, he takes a nose dive each time. The second one seems to be twice the distance than the first.

he doesn't always take a nose dive in the second. To get the farthest distance in either you have to get the penguin to slide.
