Different Fences to different computers

Hello.

I have a new laptop and an old desktop PC. In the laptop is version 4 of Fences and the in PC is Fences 5. I want the desktops to be different, the computers have different software installed. Now the desktops get mixed up and the laptop has lots of useless, non-functional icons. When I removed the icons, they were also removed from the desktop PC. How do I get a separate storage folder for each computer?

Are you using Multiplicity?

What version of Windows is on each computer. Full version number XXXXX.XXXX?

Full version number of each Fences install?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. That is strange, I don't think that is due to Fences. Do you by any chance have OneDrive Desktop Sync turn on? That will make both of your desktop have same icons since it is syncing to each other.

Yes, turn that off and you will need to rearrange your Fences/icons layout on individual system. That should stop it from effecting each other there on. Also do a backup once you done arranging your layout so you can have something to move back to.
