You asked this same question in your other thread. Please give people time to respond to your questions and stop creating new threads with duplicate content. When you do this, you push other threads off the front page of the message board, which means they don't get the attention they deserve because you have so many threads started. Currently you have 4 threads going on the front page, with three of those threads having overlapping and duplicated content. >

Some people have not been around as long as others, and are new to posting on message boards, and, as such,-are also not aware of the ettiquette involved. Hell, I was the same when I first came here. I had never used a message board before in my life, I posted here, there, and everywhere. I was soon (politely) pointed in the right direction, by some great people with PATIENCE (understand that word?)
I personally was not impressed with the anger that came through in your (two) responses to a very minor ettiquete transgression

Eric...if you read any of the past threads started by dune2996, I get the impression that he doesn't search for himself first and just posts here. He also appears to be experienced here, in one thread he claims of making 100's of bootskins, in another or maybe the same thread, he crashed his computer with one of his bootskins. He's also posted news, which wasn't to well received...got deleted, about how to create a bootskin. He seems like a nice enough guy, but I think someone did need to point out his need to do some research first before posting questions here

I understand and can see your point Essencay, but as this is an adult with a daughter (cats thread) I felt the anger was not the right way to get that message across. The child is quite possibly reading too.
No sides taken, and no flame intended towards oSoShameless, just thought it could have been mentioned differently.

dune2996, you do need to keep your new posts to a minimum to be fair.

First thing when finding a website that has emoticons (smilies) make sure they allow you to copy and paste directly from their site. Some don't 'cause it costs bandwidth evertime someone opens a post with a emoticon in it. This site http://www.1000smilies.com/ does allow you to copy and paste



You can use any image, gif, jpg you want, they key is to have the img and /img tags around the linked image (put the [ ] brackets around the img and /img to make the work) The other way is to clicks the little image stamp below the emoticons here and just paste the link in the window that pops up.

As I recall, this thread is an offshoot of a thread about a lizard.. no?Can't see how emotipad has anything to do with the lizard... or did I miss something?

Well thanks for the help...Yes I`m am new and sometimes don`t get things quite right, my sincere appologies to oSoShameless who seems to be stalking my every mistake but OK I WILL TRY HARDER in future....I`m sure we are all having fun with the Emotipad friends, a huge thanks to all those who posted links and messages...After all we should have a little fun in our messaging....And to anone else following this thread I`m sure discoving Emotipads may make your life a little more fun so I really is another thread worth following after all and not really related to my Cats posting from earlier...

If you somehow inferred anger from my posts on this thread and the others, then I would have to say that you are mistaken. I was not angry, nor do I believe my posts indicated any anger. I used polite language, with no inflammatory words, vulgarity, symbolic vulgarity (ie s@#%***) or any language inappropriate to a reader of any age.
