Just to clarify some points here:
1. Someone posts here to ask why the wallpaper didn't get through moderation. A fair, if all too common question.
2. Could the reason for this be a technical glitch, a server error etc - let me know. Also, a reasonable request.
3. 15 inflammmatory and personal posts follow, from people who deliberately misunderstands his question.

I've seen a lot of this recently. I don't like mob mentality or personal attacks, so I respond to this.
Now my question is this: in what way am I being "ignorant" or my response being "left handed" about this? If anyone misunderstood this it was you flamers.

Ordos, he did in fact insinuate that there is corruption in the moderation process by even bring up the question... ( sorry, but that is a fact )

I was going to keep out of this one, but I read it the same way Ordos obviously did. I think it was someone suggesting the possibility of a technical fault in slightly garbled English. Sorry... I'll get my coat...

How do you read this then? The argument still stands. I reacted to unnessecary personal attacks. C'mon, they didn't even give him a chance... So if that's the norm now, I don't think this is the friendly site it once was.

I really so think that a mob mentality struck this thread. multiple derogatory posts null the point and probably will run pixelcargo away. Also it might be true that in fact he wasn't insinuating admin corruption, and what he wrote wasn't necessarily what he meant. however he has not fully backed up his claims and has made one other derogatory remark and therefore I am sitting on the "admin corrupted" translation of the post, also has anybody actually answered his questions? Again all of these posts saying how bad the guy is are entirely pointless, and almost outright rude. By continuing to harass a person you make this place a lesser place. I am guilty of this on occasion, but we should at least try to stop and be resonable. If somebody has already posted something that is equivalent to the point you want to make and it doesn't need more backing, then don't post. just my opinion.

When I first saw the post on this, I too thought the poster was dissing the moderators.

After Ordos pointed out his view, I think I would have to agree with him. I think English must not be the poster's first language, and the corruption he was referring to was not in the moderation, but instead was referring to what he thought could be corruption due to the recent server problems.

This is just my opinion, and could be totally off-base.

The things that made it look fishy:

Sorry, but even his back-flip is poorly worded at best and an attack at worst. "fishy" is again a reference to something 'smelly' or inappropriate...again about admins' conduct. [Dictionary meaning.....'seeming dishonest or false'].

Considering past experiences with miffed wall submitters it's quite easy to determine their intent as distinct from second guessing an 'excuse' for them.

I must admit, however this one was comparatively 'mild'.

Were Wincustomize.com NOT a family site I could post others which leave no room at all for alternative 'interpretation'.....

It's a constant theme on the board that comes in cycles that ebb and flow back and forth between hardly noticeable to staggeringly vivid...

I won't allow myself to get my knickers in a knot over it anymore because of that final realization and the follow up that came right after which is, almost 100% of the people care about this site and what takes place on it, but less than 90% care at the same moment in time": meaning just because in this specific thread at this moment in time some find it a problem, give it time and something will prompt them to act in kind and find nothing wrong with it at the moment it takes place if at all...

Wow this went further then expected but I did mean corrupt in term of servers not the admins. If I ofended an admin im sorry. Im sure this would be all avoided if the *we wont email you back policy* would be an option in your account then it would make more sense to me...

Next wallpaper il be sure to ask one of the admins.

I keep saying that there should be a paragraph added to the submissions messages. Something that reads:

If your submission disappears from 'My Skins' list and it doesn’t show on the library, it means it didn’t pass moderation. If you have any questions, please email any of the admins.

I think this will eliminate a lot of these threads that most of the times lead to unnecessary comments and flaming. Of course there will always be those that will find the need to publicly vent their frustrations, but that will help my pop-corn vending business
