Fences 4.22 Folder Portal list view 2nd column bug - unsupported now?

Annoying Folder Portal bug in Fences 4.22. Are y'all not upgrading Fences 4 anymore? Upgrade path

I've been experiencing a rather annoying bug with the Folder Portals in Fences 4.22. If enough files are added to a dir with a folder portal in "List" view, such that a 2nd column is made, the view is then scrolled to that column, and finally enough files from that folder are removed such that the 2nd column disappears, there is no way to scroll back to the first column. There's no scroll bar, nor does the mouse wheel, F5, or any other simple method I've tried, bring the view back to the first column.

There are only two remedies I've found:

1) Remove and re-create the folder portal

2) Restore a snapshot

Since I use these folder portals regularly every day for folders that constantly shift files around, this happens a -lot-, and so is very annoying. I'm having to restore snapshots about 10 times a day.

Looking on the forum, I see that everything appears to be Fences 5 now, which I'm guessing means that Fences 4 is no longer getting support, and also guessing that 4.22 is probably the last F4 version to come out? We also purchased 3 months too early to get the upgrade. So does this mean we'll have to shell out $50 for the new version just to get support for this bug? (We'd need the perma 5-pack license) :'(   Don't even know if the new version has fixed this.

*Sigh* Anyways putting it out there.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know your Windows full version and OS Build numbers. Please use Winver.exe. I need it to see if I can reproduce your issue on my system.

Hello again,

I tested but scrollbar do appear when I added more items/files into that linked folder. Please review my video below.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

If you still see differently on your system. Please post a video so we can understand the issue better.

Lol, okay well I pressed something on my keyboard (one of the F keys I think, not F5, maybe in combination with a modifier key?) inside of the folder portal, and I'm not sure what it did, but currently it's working again. I can't get it to reproduce the issue. This after weeks of acting up :P

That said, not sure if it makes a difference for the bug I was experiencing, but for me, I have the folder portal such that it only shows one (fairly wide) column on the screen at a time. I only say that because the bug might not happen if more than one are allowed to show.

I will post back tomorrow if it happens again while I'm working, and I can try to give you reproducible steps. Sorry bout that, but thanks!
