1. Most people create a new Fence very rarely. At the moment, I am always prompted to create a Fence on the desktop. I switched the creation to the right mouse button, but this did not help. At least make it possible to create a Fence with the middle mouse button, so that I see the Fence creation menu less often.

2. Add the ability to disable interaction with Fence titles. Why should I change the title name from the desktop after successful setup? There are often situations when renaming the title is enabled, when I do not need it. For this, the Fence title options are enough.

It would be nice if there was an option to completely prohibit interaction with the Fence, for example, remove renaming, dragging. Leave only opening on mouse hover.

3. Add the ability to remove "Fence settings" from the desktop context menu, not everyone needs it there.

4. It would be interesting to launch programs from the Fence with one click, for example, with the middle mouse button (if this is even possible to implement).

5. Well, I would like even more performance. There are still lags and freezes, especially after turning on and using the Fence for the first time.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system and issue.

  1. Fences version you currently have in your system. Full version number.
  2. Windows full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe

I need to know those information before moving forward. First there is a newer version out. Fences v 5.83, please get it from your account download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products.

Once that is done,  Check this guide : https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1621360668/Show+%2522Lock+Fences%2522+in+Fences+5. This will make "Lock Fences" appear in your right click menu.

Once that show up. Lock your Fences. That should resolve your issue 1 and 2.

Issue 3 and 4: Feature request: I have forwarded your request to the Stardock Support Team for their review and recommendations.

Issue 5. Do you still have lag and freeze issue with latest version V5.83 and with Fences lock?

After updating Steam I now have version 5.80, how did this happen?
U.P.D.  I understand that you rolled back the version. But how do I get 5.83?

I believe, Fences, 5.83 Beta not available yet in Steam. If you on v 5.80 the Lock Fences, I mention above, should still work. Please refer here for why Fences v5.81 was roll back to 5.80: https://forums.stardock.com/529942. To get the 5.83, you will need to wait for it to get release on Steam.
