Symbols on desktop can no longer be moved

Hello,

 

I installed the trial version of FENCES 5.

Fences and folders are on the desktop.

I deleted this and all files, links and folders are now all on the desktop.

However, these can no longer be moved. When trying the folders, files or links to place on the desktop to place to another place, they jump back and cannot be moved.

 

Can you fix that so that it works again?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more details on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Fences 5 full version number.
  3. When you said "I deleted this and all...." What do you mean by that? Please elaborate.
  4. Please check if you have not turn on Desktop "Auto arrange icons". If you do have that turn on, please turn it off and try again.
