Please run winver and post the results. Also which antiviral software do you have? Is it ESET?

Windows 10 22H2 19045.4894

and no antiviral software.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Did you try to change the default installation directory when installing the software? Do know that Fences needs to be installed in the default directory on the system drive.

Thank you.

You cannot do that anymore. That option was removed and hasn't been available for quite some time

Sorry, I was not  clear about what I was thinking what the error might be. I don't know the OP's language here, but maybe he/she has changed the default font (and or language) and that's the reason for the installer to misread the path. Just a thought.

Hi,

I didn't change the default location, and it just shows \Stardock\Fences.

It should show the whole path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Fences, (not just Stardock\Fences)  so have you done any modifications to your system or used any  software to change the default install paths?

Try re-download the latest installer again from your account product download page here: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install using the new files and see if the issue still appear.
