FENCES 5

Not properly activated

Good day all. I purchase FENCES 5 through Messrs Ashampoo, the best prize at the time, valid for 5 devices. Installed on 3 devices in my household. Now every time I download and install new software and want to move the icon of the new app to a relevant fence , a window pops up asking for a license key. 

I'm not sure where to lodge a complaint

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I assume you have at least activated it once with your license keys, yes? If so please refer to this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1260552209/Error:+212+or+Product+Keeps+Prompting+to+Activate. Try it and report back.

Dear Basj. Thank you for your advice. I tried it out with no positive result. After deleting the relevant files, re-install Fences 5, rebooting, and trying to re-activate via the purchased license key, I received the following pop-up: Unable to activate Fences as it is currently active on a different computer etc, etc Due to this very message I'm currently running Fences in trail mode on my Desktop and two Notebook computers. My purchased license key is valid for 5 Computers, home users only, and with a so-called lifetime activation. Any more assistance will be appreciated.

Following our previous discussion I managed to contact Messrs Ashampoo, a Stardock reseller from which I purchased FENCES 5. I willo cut and paste there response to my query for your perusal

Dear Jacobus,
 
I just received feedback that this issue is already known and that Stardock has been contacted.
We are truly sorry about this. Stardock has confirmed the receipt of our complaint, and a delivery was promised for last week. However, we must note that this has not yet occurred as of today. 
 
A colleague is working hard to obtain these licenses so that we can resume selling this software and provide you with the corresponding license.
For the moment, unfortunately, I cannot convey any better news.

From the above, correspondence it is clear that Messrs Stardock is aware of a known problem regarding the 5 pack license key.

Any assistance to alleviate my current problem to activate my 2 x Notebooks wilol be appreciated.

Please raise support ticket using the link below, use the "Ask a Question" option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.
