Anyone know a good Remote Desktop application for use with WindowBlinds?

Yeah, the one that comes with Windows XP doesn't work so swell when you're using a WindowBlinds skin. You are unable to see check boxes and other such things which make using window quite difficult. Anyone know of a good proggy?

Hmmm, maybe it's the skin you're using as I used the remote desktop tool for a whole day on Friday connecting to my machine running WindoesBlinds without a single hitch. FYI I had XPJeans (I think it was) with WB running on the remote machine, and vanilla XP on the local end.

You might also try WinVNC as I've been using that on and off for years with good success too. http://www.realvnc.com/

I use RD with WindowBlinds all the time with no issues.

What are the RD settings that you are using?  What is the skin that you are using?

Sorry this took so long to reply too, I've been away for a little while. Anyhow, I am using WindowBlinds 4.2 with the OXSP NG theme (the one which looks like MacOS X) However, it doesn't seem to matter which theme I'm using, they all do the same thing

I usually use RealVNC whatever I need to use remote desktop.

RealVNC works great! We use it at work all the time!

I also remote desktop into a WB-skinned system all the time. No problems here.

I can also vouch for TightVNC.

One thing that may solve this - when you use the remote desktop app built into XP, make sure you check the options. I think the default "experience" if for dial up users and hence disables Themes...which may be why your milage is different from mine? Hope this or VNC helps you anyhow

Hrmmm, reinstalled WindowBlinds and it seems to have worked some magic on my computer, as Remote Desktop is now working fine again hehe

Thanks for the help everyone, thinking of trying out VNC anyhow now
