Fences 2.13 icons disappear

from Stardock Forums

When I right click my desktop, the left row of icons on my desktop disappear, then left click desktop and they show up again.

Why and how do I fix it so it stops doing this?

  1. Windows 7/8/10/11 full version and OS Build number.
  2. Is this a new install or this is new issue and it was working without this issue before. If its a new issue what changed in your system that causing this issue?

Windows 11 Home 24H2 Build 26100.2161

It's been doing this since I installed it after I got my laptop back from Lenovo's repair where Lenovo wiped my SSD and did a clean install of Windows, then I got my laptop back and installed Fences and it's been doing it since installing Fences as far as I recall.

I didn't have an issue like this when I had it on my desktop but that was a couple years ago.

You on Windows 11 24H2 and you using Fences v2. I don't think Fences v2 which released in 2012 (ref here) is compatible with Windows 11. Moving forward, I believe it is best if you purchase Fences v5.
