OjectDock

How to install ObjectDock's objects ??
When downloading some it's usual in a zip file. So where to unzip the file ???
The default installation of ObjectDock gives me several folders : ObjectDock\Backgrounds, ObjectDock\Crystallized, ObjectDock\Docklets, ObjectDock\LaST, ObjectDock\Themes.

It's very confusing to me ...

Icons/PNGs go in the ObjectDock folder (you can put them in sub-folders if you wish), Backgrounds go in the Backgrounds folder, Docklets go in the Docklets folder, Themes go in the Themes folder......

Still not sure to understand well ...
So icons/png's have to go to the folder called ObjectDock\Crystallized on the initial installation of ObjectDock ?? (which may be renamed as Icons ? )
- Why is there icons AND PNGs in zip files ?? (as i think they do the same ...)
- What does Docklets means ??

Thanks for your help

(N.B: just can't imagine how to use DesktopX )

No they do not. They can be in any folder in the ObjectDock folder. It will show up in the tree area to the left when you are choosing an image.

Some people prefer one or the other. I believe PNGs take up less of your ram and processor usage than icons, however, icons can be used more easily with IconPackager for example.

A docklet is a small program that integrates with your ObjectDock to preform a function. For example, there is a clock docklet, its purpose being obvious. There is also a start menu docklet that pops up your start menu over it.

it took me a little bit to figure out how the docket's worked and where they go.. kept downloading the sdk thing only to realize i didn't need it. when you get a docklet just drop it in the docklets folder and it should show up in the list if it was created properly.
