How do I stop auto icon snapping/arranging in a fence?

Thought I would try fences out as I'm not a fan of icons everywhere but I do like things spaced a certain way depending on different things.

My problem is if I move an icon in a fence it snaps back to join the group of icons.
For example I have a 7x3 fence set up but only 14 icons in it. That means it aligns to the top have 3 per row like:
X     X     X
X     X     X
X     X     X
X     X     X
X     X


But I want 1 in the top row middle and have the others below it like
       X
X     X     X
X     X     X
X     X     X
X     X     X
X

Is this possible?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Unfortunately that is no, there is no option to disable auto align in Fences.
