Fences crashing on me

Hello,

Since yesterday, I have problem with Fences version 5.86 (Revision 8). I am using Windows 10, and it was working fine until yesterday.

It is constantly crashing anything I do on fences or on my desktop to the point i had to disable it. 

I do not really know what is the reason of it. For example, I am using folders or clicking on files in Fence's the ring next to the mouse cursor spinning for several times and then the screen become white for a while, then it's coming back to normal. It is then working fine for a while and then when I start using it is crashing again.

I am a little bit disappointed because I paid money for subscription.

Any solution for it or fix ?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Something might not get installed properly, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Could you send us a report, which may contain a crash snapshot?

You can use "Create error report package" from the Troubleshooting menu in About

Hello

I have sent the troubleshooting report however, I think I solved the problem. I had my home network shared folder set up as a fence, and this was causing this crashing. When I removed that fence from my desktop, then it stopped crashing.
