Yrag.....IPlural...... Anyone!!! I need computer help

HI Guys...... here's the story..... I just got my spare computer back from a friends house....I loaned it to him for a while.... It's apparently been working o.k., but when I got it home this is what happened: connected everything up ....no problems.... but when I turn it on, there is a little bit of disk activity, but then nothing....the monitor doesn't even come out of standby and NOTHING appears on the screen. Anybody have any idea why it isn't even attempting to boot? its a PII 233Mhz with 320mb ram matrox video card and a 3.2GB hard drive.

If any one has any ideas I would be grateful......Thank you.

Good to hear BoXXi

I will say that there was a problem with the HD.

That isn't bad at all price wise for sure.

200's with a heatsink faired pretty well, even seen 233's with just a heatsink that did ok. But they were also in large cases with monster case fans that rattled and sucked the house windows in when turned on.

"Bat out of Hell"?.....hmmmm more like...."Pelican out of Florida" although 320Mb of ram and and a 32Mb Matrox card does help it along...... it's not too bad really. Besides that, it was my first ever computer six years ago, and I created most of what you see in "My Skins" on that system, so I don't want to retire it just yet. (Hell, I might even get a 17" Monitor for it!! hehe)
