Tried looking up any reports like yours on the net, but there were none.

There are report of Presonus user on Fences 4. Refer here: https://forums.stardock.com/514029/get;3869201. That user stop replying after I suggested the purge and reinstall steps. Not clear if the issue resolved after doing those steps or he simply given up.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Thank you,

Hi, i haven't tried the "Purge" fix, but now i recall that Microsoft Windows 11 (not sure about 10), has a big problem regarding custom desktop wallpapers, because when enable with many of my 4K Wallpapers, some weird things happens when it automatically changes images (i may think it's because of my wallpaper's file size... (all being 4K); or maybe it's because i have a lot of 4K wallpapers in the selected folder.  For example: I'm in the middle of selecting files for copying, and suddenly my selection broke the instant the selected timer for my different wallpapers changes.  (sorry for my bad English).  Hope you get the idea, and notice it too.  It is odd that this Microsoft Windows problem isn't found on the internet.

This leads me to think that maybe the culprit is not Fences nor Studio One.

What do you think?

Best Regards!

If Presonus Studio One functions like a wallpaper engine, then there well could be problems with W11.

Maybe Presonus has a tech forum where you could also ask?

I may have found a partial fix, as suggested by another user, actually by "restarting" the explorer process, fix the issue of having the taskbar freeze by Studio One when doing a mixdown.

I may need to find a way to automate the explorer restart process when opening and closing studio one, don't think there's a way of doing it when making a mixdown though...therefore consider this like a partial fix.
