windowblinds not allowing free trial activation

i've installed the software and i press the button that says 'start free trial' but when i press it nothing happens.

i've tried these methods:

restarted computer

reinstalled software

reinstalled with new installer

started computer in clean boot

i just haven't the faintst clue of what to do next.
