Start11 scrolling issue

Items in Shortcuts list (right-hand side) don't scroll with touchpad

OS:  Win11 24H2 Build 26100.2605
Start11 v2.11
Menu Style:  Windows Pro style

I generally have two-finger on the touchpad scrolling enabled.  I am able to two-finger scroll in the main portion of the Start Menu (e.g., the All apps list).

However, if an item is included in the Shortcuts on the right-hand side that expands into a menu which is large enough to display a scroll bar (e.g., Control Panel), that menu will not two-finger scroll.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. This is strange, but I don't get scroll bar at all. And, from what I know if the list is taller than the display, the menu will automatically add another column on itself. Refer my screenshot below. Btw, I am on Start11 v2.49.3 Beta, not sure if this was changed recently, but if I remember correctly, this is how it has been for some time.

Thank you.

I figured it out, why yours having the scroll bar. Center Start button something like screenshot below, yes?

I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Yes indeed.  If I put the Start button at the left, then it displays in two columns as you said.  If Start button is at the center, it displays in one column with a scroll bar.  Note that the scroll bar itself works; it just doesn't respond to touchpad two-finger scrolling.  Hardly a calamity, but curious ...

Thanks!

It looks like there is not enough room for two columns and so the Start11 is defaulting to a scrolling menu. If you reduce the size of the grid area to say six icons wide, is there room for two columns?

The problem isn't so much that it displays a scrolling menu; I don't mind that.  The problem is that it doesn't respond to two-finger touchpad scrolling.
