Fences disappeared after reboot or win update

My Fences disappeared for the 3rd time in a row after rebooting or doing a win update.  Today I discovered a restore feature, but nevertheless it did not work...  did not restore previous fences.  Any suggestions??  Thanks!

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, before we can help you, please post information on your system.

  1. Fences full version number.
  2. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  3. Is this a new issue and it was working before, if so, what changed that might causing the issue?

Hello.   Thanks for your quick reply and assistance.

1. Fences v. 5.86 (revision 8)
2. Win 11 ver 24H2 (OS Build 26100.2314)
3.  It's a new issue.  I was using Fences in a different computer, with Win 10.  I replaced the computer in November and ever since, everytime I've rebooted or updated windows, this has happened...

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
