Large File download probs in UK. Frogboy please read

I have a problem. To update multymedia I have to download 82 megs. In the UK a lot of us are limited to 2 hours and then the line is closed. Is there any way I can download using something like Gozilla, or download smaller files,or is the dregen net game manager supposed to do that. Because it doesn't on my machine.

The DGM is supposed to recognize partially downloaded files, but I don't know if it works if you reboot before resuming.

(For reference, I haven't seen it actually resume yet, but I haven't had to try with the current DGM version, so I can't say that I have any viable information to report.)

I have the impression that the DGM's ability to recognize partially downloaded file groups has degenerated over the last few upgrades of DGM. Now it looks like if DGM stays up you could luck out and it will redial and continue from where it was (very rare), Or if that fails DGM will, if you are lucky, redisplay your options to retry downloading a game, then it seems to try to recognize what has already been downloaded only if you retry the same file set, at least to some extent. If DGM failes and closes, you close DGM and restart it, or you reboot, it looks like DGM fails to recognize what it has already downloaded and redoes the entire download from scratch.

Another observation, the DGM seems to fail more often just after a new build is made available (the assumption here is that the server with the GalCiv code is getting swamped). After getting failure after failure yesterday I was able to get the multimedia upgrade (all 82 MB) without a hickup today in about 4-5 hours.
