There is nothin wrong with the wallpaper, it's just not to everybody's taste, as for the rating, I wouldn't worry about, if people like it then they will download it.

I'm not the Mod who accepted it, and gave it the rating, but I think the low rating is because it appears you used pre-made graphics (the guitars), and mirrored it, and added a simple background with a basic lighting effect.
That's what I see when I look at it. So the low rating is probably due to the fact that you didn't do alot yourself, so much as put things together.
It's not a bad wall, but most times the Mods look at the originalilty, and such in creating them.

Just my $.02 worth....... usually I don't respond to these threads, but you seem to be seeking an honest evaluation........... there's mine.

Thank you for the input. I have a question, is there a "line-to-line" type of CAD selection tool in PSP 8??

Not sure what a line to line type of CAD selection tool is, having never worked with CAD. Could you describe it?

Like, you got a start point, then you can stretch the end point wherever you want, and so on, and so on. End the selection if you want, or continue if desired... somthing other than "freehand", "circle", "square", ect., ect.,.

I guess not. Sounds like a selection tool that works like the Pen Tool. That would be nifty, I suppose.......

photoshop has it. in all programs of that nature it should have a name of something similar to 'lasso' or 'area select tool'. photoshop also has a 'magic wand'. you should be able to find a 'cousin tool' in psp.

  1. On the Tools toolbar, choose the Freehand Selection tool from the Selection tool flyout.

  2. On the Tool Options palette, choose the Selection Type to determine how Paint Shop Pro makes the selection:

Edge Seeker Click on the edges of irregularly shaped areas, and Paint Shop Pro finds the edges between two areas with subtle color or light changes between them.

Freehand Click and drag to select the area—like making a freehand drawing. Use this type for irregular shapes when you want to make a selection quickly.

Point to Point Click from point to point and Paint Shop Pro draws a straight border between the points. Use this when you want a selection with straight edges.

Smart Edge Click along the edges of irregularly shaped areas and Paint Shop Pro finds the edges. Use this selection to create a border between two areas of highly contrasting color or light.

There it is!      I should have studied the Help files a little closer before answering.

You might also, click left and hold, hold down left shift and drag to get straight lines, round circles, true triagles and 90 deg. corners on squares/rectangles in PSP?
