Move Taskbar

Wondering if there is a setting to lift the taskbar a bit off of the bottom of the screen. The bottom edge of the taskbar has an outline which only seems to show if I open a program in a full screen window. I am attaching a program open screenshot where you can see the bright green edge on the bottom, and a desktop (programs minimized) image where you can see that that green outline on the bottom edge is hidden. Can someone help me with this?Desktop Window with no bottom Green Edge

Ok, that helped. So how do you want me to do this? Do I have to download Windowblinds from the sandbox to install it?

I tried going to stardock and logging into my account, but I get an error on my downloads page. So how do I get the installation file to the sandbox?

I believe you should be able to download it via your Sandbox or you can copy over the installation file from your main system.

So now I get a vbs error message, and then when I try to apply to desktop i get this:

So essentially, I can't run Windowblinds. This seems way more of a headache. There has to be a better way to figure this out.

Forget that, I see I could restart the Sandbox. Now it works. So it appears that the windowblind works fine in the sandbox with nothing else loaded. SO how do I figure out what is causing the issue? Do I have to start installing everything that is running on my normal windows? Seems extremely tedious when I have no clue what it could be.

Ok, so this means I no longer am using the sandbox, correct?

Yes, that is correct.

OK, I have tracked this down to the Start11 service. With everything running except that, the Windowblind is fine. If I turn the Start11 service on, it acts up as I indicated at the beginning of this thread. So how should I proceed from here?

Which version of Start11 you're on now? Also, what is your setting on this one?

version is 2.52 (and up-to-date).

The setting is on, but grayed out, i.e., I can't turn it off????

That slider will be active when you turn on Start11 autohide mode, than you can turn it off.

So you want me to turn on Autohide and turn it off?

There is something else going on with Start11. When I reboot, I can configure settings. If I close it and go to Configure Settings again, it will not open the settings. Do you thing I should clean Start11 off my system and reinstall? Is there a way to make sure it is completely cleaned out, or will I lose all my settings for it? I do make regular backups which I assume I can restore.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge.Test if the issue resolved while Start11 is not install. Reinstall Start11 and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I rebooted and set the pixel setting to off, and it changed nothing.

Problem with downloading from account page is when they send me an email, Start11 not on email list, and if I try to go to download Object Desktop, I get Technical Difficulties page:

So I can not download Start11. You need to get me a way around that.

Got a page to download now. SHould I install the V2 or the V2 Beta?

End of Sunwheel9's quote
I would suggest to install the beta, because it has some important bug fixes.

So this did not go well. Ran the bat file and got all kinds of errors listed. Tried to copy but could not open anything (notepad). Window popped up that said "Failed to initialize SdAppServices. Clicked on that and it finished, but I did not know if I should Remove Settings as there was nothing about that in the page you sent me. Rebooted, and Start11 is actually still installed, but the problem that I am trying to fix is now gone. In any case, it did NOT uninstall. So not sure what you want me to do next. I have to step out for a bit, but I will be back after noon (EST). Let me know how to proceed. I am assuming we would still want to get Start11 off my system somehow????

From what I know, the Start purge work for Start8, Start10 and Start11, so I believe, it is normal to see some error messages popup on the CMD windows, when there are some files don't exist for that specific version to be deleted. But, Start11 should be removed once all the steps are done and reboot after that. Please rerun the purge and let is finish doing its job with all the error appear. Just let it go through everything and don't reboot when ask until everything. Only reboot after "purge complete" message box appear. Click OK than reboot.

Ok, looks like it uninstalled. I reinstalled and did not restore settings from backup. The issue presented at the start of this is not there. SO should I now restore my settings to see if the issue returns?

I went ahead and restored my settings and it is definitely something in the settings as the problem returned. Is there someway I can figure out what it is without wiping everything that I have in my settings? It is definitely not the start button image as that did not restore.

On a side note, I also would like to know if I could uninstall the previous Fences program. As you can see here, there are two installed:

I believe it will take more times if you wish to go through your old setting and see which one is causing the issue on your system. It is best to start fresh.
