Malware detected in installation files

Hello,

I just purchased a year of Object Desktop, but Malware is detected in Deskscapes, WindowBlinds, Groupy, and Fences.   A file by the name of 'Malware.AI(a bunch of numbers)' in each of the 4 installation files, each file unique with the numbers, so 4 different malware files.  The name is a bit on the nose and concerns me.  Ideas?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Usually it is false positive. But, to be sure, you can try re-download installer directly from your Stardock account page here: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

Thank you,

If you downloaded from Stardock's site, there's no chance of malware in the download. Period.

If you downloaded from Stardock's site, your A/V software is signaling a false positive.

Which A/V are you using?

To avoid the single engine antivirus false positive possibility, try free OPSWAT, a multiengined antimalware scanner:

Will do.  I think I'm going to trust as I've always trusted Stardock.  I use Malwarebytes subscription btdubs.  It is known to give some false positives
