Disappearing Shortcuts

Is it a bug or a feature? 

Whatever it is, it is really irritating that shortcuts in a fence box just disappears.
Again and again I have created shortcuts on the desktop put them in a box, only to find that they are gone the next time the PC is rebooted.

Most of the time it is shortcuts created by the function in Edge “install a site as an app"

I am running win 11 24H2

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Fences full version number.

Try this, disable Fences and Create those Edge Install a site as an app on your desktop. Reboot, and see if the shortcut still there.
