Ok...I recently made a couple wallpapers with PSP8, for example, I made one with 2 crossing axe's in the middle, the axe's being original work, looks fine in PSP, when I load it up on the desktop, all around the edges of the axe's is slightly distorted. Like how a 800x600 wallpaper looks on a 1280 desktop. Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to correct this. Got some work I'm really proud of and excited about the evaluation. Thank You.

What exactly is the original size you used to create the design?
I dont work with PSP, but It might also be that when you saved the work you saved it with a low resolution setting.

Its set for 1280x1024. When I zoom to 100% (which is actual size...uuhhh... I believe, sorry, new at this) it looks fine in psp, but when I put it on the desktop, it looks totally different! Also, another question, is there a way to, well, I dont want to say sharpen, I know how to sharpen the image and thats not what i'm lookin for, it's just slightly blurry. Any help is much appreciated, Thank You.

I assume your screen resolution is 1280x1024 also. OK..... the image looks fine in PSP, then you save it as a what...... jpg, bmp, gif, png? If gif, don't do that, not a good format for walls. bmp, and png should be fine. If jpg, then I wonder what the compression setting is... best to use the Jpeg Optimizer for that. Go to file > Export > Jpeg Optimizer... keep the compression low. This is all pure guess work until you provide details.
Did you happen to save a copy as a .pspimage also? If not you'll probably have to start over, it'll be tough trying to repair a botched image.

Do Not zoom to 100%, use "Normal Viewing" it will then display as original size, when applying to the desktop, don't use stretch, use centre
