Arrange App Icons Manually Within a Fence?

I routinely connect and disconnect my laptop from an ultrawide monitor. Every time I do this my desktop icons re-arrange. I cannot find a way to arrange in the order that I prefer within Fences. Is there a way to freeze the apps within a fence on how I prefer, and not by selecting a sort method?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know few more information.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these information.
  2. Fences full version number.

Please check if you have set the sorting to none.

If it still happen after that was set, please recheck if this option was somehow revert to something other than "None"? Report back.

Are you clicking on Portal Fences? I believe you can not set portal Fences to none.

Sorry but I am not sure what "portal fences" is?  What program are you displaying the capability to organize freely?
