Hotkey - Upgrade Windows show desktop functionality not working with Windows 11 pro

Hi - I am running Fences 4.22 on Windows 11 Pro ( Version 24H2 & OS build 26100.4202) The the hotkey to show the desktop  using Win + Space stopped working. This was the feature that motivated me to upgrade before. Below is the screen image. Any thoughts on why this doesn't work and what to do this fix this? Regards, Bruce

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. This is known issue with Fences 4 on Windows 11 v24H2. As a test you should do a free 30 days trial on Fences 6 and see if the issue appear.

I’ve spent a fair amount of time troubleshooting Fences 4, including the “Peek at Desktop” feature that never really worked on my multi-monitor setup. After reading through support threads, I now learn this is a known bug — and that the only fix is to pay again for a “perpetual” Fences 6 license.

Honestly, that’s disappointing. I bought Fences expecting stable functionality, not to have to upgrade to a new version just to get basic advertised features working. There also doesn’t seem to be any upgrade pricing visible anymore, which makes it even less compelling.

 

I’d really appreciate some transparency here: are you at least planning a Black Friday sale or upgrade discount for existing users? After the amount of time I’ve spent trying to fix this, I’m reluctant to pay full price for a perpetual license when the previous version still isn’t functioning properly.

Actually there is upgrade discount for previous version users. Just click on the "Upgrade" link button to check the discount offer to you.
