Fronts blurry

This problem has been going on for a long time and is definitely problematic, although not obvious among English users.

In the Chinese operating system, the fonts of the software are very vague. Even if I switch the fonts of the software to English, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, this is basically consistent with the performance of DPI problems in some software. Recently I tried reinstalling the application and I found that some of the text during the installation process is garbled, which may be related to encoding.

Screenshots make this blur much less obvious, but in fact the fonts of normal software are quite sharp and clear

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

  1. Windows full version and OS build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Windows Display HDR turn on or off? If it is on, as a test, turn it off and see if that resolved the issue.
  3. As a test please do 30 days trial on Fences 6 and see if that resolved your issue.

Thank you,

I didn't enable HDR. I tried your software on another device a long time ago and this problem existed. Fence6 is no exception now. I think it has something to do with character encoding, because some text is garbled during the installation process. It also has something to do with Chinese fonts, because the two English function texts in my screenshot are obviously blurred, and it seems that Chinese fonts (seems to be Chinese Kaiti) are called. I didn't care about this problem at the time, thinking that it would be solved now. As a result, it seems that no one cares about it. This problem is harmless. If you are willing, my suggestion is that if you switch the Chinese language, switch the text encoding and use Microsoft Yahei as the internal font.

I think that's the information I can provide, and I don't plan to invest more energy in this issue.

This is what I see on my system with Fences 6. I can't read Chinese, so I can't really see if that is Clear or Blurry. Perhaps you can post a screenshot of other application that have similar Chinese font size which is not blurry.

Below is my screenshot comparing Edge vs Fences, do you consider Edge's sharper?

This is the comparison I made with startallback.

The Chinese in edge is also normal, just bolded and not blurred.

You can easily understand the effect of blur by searching the program dpi scaling blur on the Internet. The correct text has no shadow, and the wrong text has blurred shadow.

The font in your software is inconsistent with mine, but it seems that some text is not so blurred. I guess it is because the system uses English encoding, but the inconsistency of brightness and clarity of Chinese and English fonts also occurs or is even more obvious. I circled it.

The comparison picture is very obvious. I think the Chinese in startallback is what the program should use under normal circumstances.

Please click on the image to view the original file. The quality of the image displayed directly is reduced, which greatly affects the recognition of the originally clear text.

I think most of the Chinese characters in your screenshots are clear and normal (but the font is incorrect, it is an early Chinese font), which is the clarity I want. Only English and a few words have dpi problems. I think the problem lies in the character encoding and font library.

The garbled code of the installer (that's not text) is the case with all Chinese system installations. Obviously, there is a character encoding problem (GBK?UTF8?idk)
