What file are you talking about? Is it a skin you are opening using Logon Studio? Do you see these messages after it is applied? Does this happen with every skin? Where are you in the program when you see these messages? More information is needed.

OK...here we go...i opened the file C:\Program Files\Stardock\LogonStudio\logonstudio.ini..(might be different on your computer)..i was just looking for a way to get my logon skins to show the "please wait while windows shuts down" messages, i havent been able to get them to show up since i installed logonstudio...so when i opened this file and saw those blank message areas i thought that it might be for those particular messages..maybe i had to fill them in or something....this message goes with that number type of thing. so i did a lil research and didnt come up with nething so i came here and started this thread:::::::i have a screen shot if some1 could help me figure out how to post the pic::::::::

LogonStudio or Logons cannot skin the screen you mentioned nor the one that comes after that, and probably never will, XP is not like Win98

You can't skin the area you mentioned because that area is not covered by your user acount - YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE DEFAULT XP STUFF UNTIL YOU LOGON WITHOUT HACKING SYSTEM 32 OF SOMTHING BECAUSE THE STARTUP SCREEN IS OWNED BY ALL USERS AND THEREFORE CANNOT BE CUSTOMIZED

Latin4567: Don't shout, typing in CAPS is considered shouting, please do not do it, actually we can change both the Starup screens with "Bootskin" and "LogonStudio", but cannot alter the one Dwack24578 is talking about.

As for the s-elected screen showing up when shutting down, I'm not sure if that was intentional, but you may have noticed that it is Exactly! the same screen as the Logon screen (could be a leftover from booting)
