Instaling object desktop on new machine w/out internet

I am currently an OD subscriber. I use stardock central to download files. I have a new computer, and I would like to move OD from my current computer to the new one. The problem is that my new computer does not have internet on it, although my current machine does.

My current machine has a CD burner, so if possible, I could burn OD on a CD. Does anyone have any suggestions for putting OD on my new computer?

I'd like to see the answer to this also... now that Component Manager is gone I haven't figured out how to do it either.  The obvious easy answer though is: connect to the web long enough to download all the programs...

or... does Stardock offer a CD of all the programs for OD subscribers?

If you have the CD, you can do it that way. The only other way is to copy entire HD in old machine to new machine.

I dont have the CD I signed up online when I used to have high speed internet. Now I have dialup and my new computer does not have a modem.

My current computer is actually a laptop, so I cant really switch harddrives around.

I would really like object desktop on my new computer without internet. Any more suggestions???

Yup...mailto:[email protected] ask to have CD sent for your purchased OD Download (you'll have to pay S+H). You can go to the Hard Drive Mfg site of your HD and download a proggie to copy files from one drive to another if both systems are same OS and File type. I understand the problem with the lap and, very honestly, your best bet (short of ripping things apart) is getting the CD.

Download the Stardock Central installer from your computer that has Internet access, you'll need it on your new computer.  Then, from your old computer, open Stardock Central then File -> Archive Appllication -> Download and Archive All.  Or you could just one by one the programs you want and choose File -> Archive Appllication -> Entire Application (Including skins).
From your new computer with Stardock Central installed, choose File -> Restore Archive.

I think this should work.

Why not just get a modem for the laptop
