Will Curtains ever be made compatible with Windows 11?

I'm asking because I just got a replacement computer with Windows 11 installed, and I found out Curtains won't install.

When I had my old Windows 10 computer, I had "Double Grad" (or "Double Gradient") for Curtains installed, although I changed the 2 colors to create alternate skins.

With my Windows 11 computer, I'll either have to wait it out until Stardock upgrades Curtains to be compatible with Windows 11, or, I'll have to get WindowBlinds and find a skin that's exactly like (or very close to) the "Double Grad". I've been searching WindowBlinds skins on WinCustomize website, using various search terms, and also just scrolling from one page to the next, but I don't know that I want to spend hours searching through 600+ WindowBlinds skins to find what I'm looking for. I'm not tech savvy enough to be able to create my own WindowBlinds skin, nor do I have the patience.

Is it possible for a Windowblind theme to emulate Curtains?  That is, leave my choice for dark mode alone but skin other parts of the UI.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. No Windowblinds does not work like Curtains. With Windowblinds user can not pick and choose which part need to be skin while let other part untouched.

Oh that's too bad.  I had switched to Curtains so I didn't lose the dark mode I need for my eyes.  While some blinds have a dark mode They don't really emulate Windows' dark mode that well.  In some cases, text on the dark background becomes unreadable to me.

Please forgive me necro'ing an old thread... But I didn't see a reason to start a new thread when there's an existing one... I am interested in a Curtains for Windows 11 as well... I have it working on my laptop, but can't install it on my desktop. The reason it is on the laptop, is that I had installed it back before I upgraded the laptop to 11 from Windows 10, and it continues to work seamlessly, and does what I want without issue... I did try one theme that I downloaded, and had the transparent title bar issue, but 99.9% of the time I use one of the built in / included themes and have had no issues with it. I have Window Blinds on my desktop, but haven't found matching themes to those included with Curtains anywhere, and for some reason Curtains does better with Brave, and other problematic programs and apps, then Window Blinds does in my use cases... So I am hoping we'll see a Windows 11 compatible version, without having to wait as long as we did for Object Dock... 😸 It was worth the wait though...

I really wonder if Stardock is on updates via AI at any rate.
