Help With Media Buttons on SysMetrix Skins

I'm making a SysMetrix skin...or expanding one, and I want to make use of the Media control option. Now I tried using it with other skins, but when I click play or skip track, nothing happens. Anyone know if I need a specific media player? Or how it works? Thanks a lot!
